TRUST & SAFETY

Privacy policy

This policy explains what Vmart collects during alpha, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Effective:

Information we collect

Vmart receives account information handled by our sign-in provider, such as your name, email address, verification status, and account identifier. We also store content you choose to post, including titles, descriptions, prices, public locations, and photos.

  • Support messages and reports you send to the alpha team.
  • Technical data needed to operate and protect the service, such as IP address, device type, request time, and error logs.
  • Language choices and basic interactions needed to provide features you request.

How we use information

We use information to provide, protect, and improve Vmart.

  • Authenticate accounts and enable listing publication.
  • Display published listings and respond to support requests.
  • Prevent fraud, investigate rule violations, and respond to incidents.
  • Monitor reliability and understand the alpha at an aggregate level.

Public content

Published listings, seller display names, photos, prices, and listing locations may be visible to anyone. A seller-selected email address or phone number is also displayed publicly on each published listing so buyers can make direct contact. Do not post identification numbers, financial data, a private home address, or other sensitive information you do not want made public.

Providers and sharing

Vmart shares data only with providers needed for sign-in, storage, infrastructure, and support operations; when law requires it; or to protect users and the service. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

We retain information as needed to operate the alpha, meet legal duties, and resolve disputes. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system is completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You may ask to access, correct, or delete your information, subject to applicable law and legitimate security or recordkeeping needs. You may also stop using Vmart at any time.

Children

Vmart alpha is intended for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the product changes and will post a new effective date. During alpha, use the support channel in your Vmart invitation for privacy questions or data requests.
